Designer’s Note: Starting this year, each leverback earring wire is a piece of handcrafted engineering, manually created in our studio to offer a perfect balance between aesthetic simplicity and durability.
Instructions for Use: To open, apply gentle pressure inwards until the post releases from the clasp. You will notice a slight lateral opening; this is the correct direction to widen the gap as needed to insert the earring into the earlobe. To close, bring the post back to the latch and apply the same gentle pressure until it clicks into place. We have utilized the natural elasticity of the metal to create the necessary leverage for opening and closing. While this innovative system may require a bit of practice at first, the benefits are well worth it: it eliminates the risk of accidental loss and prevents the "oxidation" typically found around the spring mechanism of mass-produced leverbacks.
Recommendation: To maintain the perfect shape of the earring wire, avoid forcing it against its natural form.
